Hi all, I have been bleeding for more than two months after taking RU486. Has anyone had similar experiences? I also recently got the D&C procedure done to remove excess tissues to supposedly stop the bleeding... Any similar experiences? :cry:

Hi honey! You need to go back to your doctor and ask for a pelvic ultrasound - to see if you have endometeriosis! Also the morning after pill CAN sometimes cause excessive bleeding but this is VERY rare and not something to ignore. So please phone your doctor tell them about ALL the bleeding, and you want to be seen right away! Please let me know how you make out? Good luck and health!

Actually as soon as I pressed enter I was thinking "Just a minute!!!" But either way honey, this constant bleeding is a sign of something wrong! You need to get checked by a doctor, I know the DNC helped a little, BUT there has to be something hormonal going on for you to still be bleeding! And I wanted you to have another ultrasound - this time an internal vaginal ultrasound to see if there is any reminants of the fetus left! As this can sometimes leave you to bleed - I know they did the DNC after, but I can't help but wonder if something was missed! There HAS to be a reason for you to still be bleeding! Are you becoming dizzy or rundown?
