I"m 49 years old and recently my period was irregular so doctor recommended novo-medrone medication. After one month I have regular period but now I'm heavy bleeding more than 3 weeks. To stop my bleeding doctor ask me to take the same medications. Is not working and I'm so worry.

Hi Krystyna: Did your doctor mention you are in menopause? Your bleeding for this amount of time is classic symptoms of it. Also your period coming and going. If might even stop for up to a year then start again. There is nothing to worry about this is part of the cycle of menopause. Your ovaries are coming to their end of usage - thus the periods all over the place. I really don't know why your doctor is trying to start your period - medically - when he must know you are 49 and be in full menopause right now. Mention this to him OK? Good luck
