I'm a 59 year old white male. I have Advance Vascular Disease. Last year I had prostrate biopsy done and 2 days later I had tremendous pain in both legs from feet up. Turned out to be blood clots and had right leg bypass which only lasted for 8 days. My urologist said that the biopsy had nothing to do with it. Doctors can't figure it out. I still think it had something to do with the biopsy. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you. Email is ***not allowed by Board***

I have to defer to your doctor. The urologist said that the biopsy had nothing to do with it.

I'd believe him, but you do say that you have AVD. Does that not indicate blood clots are possible?

If you need another opinion, I'd go to another doctor.
But what's done is done, I'm afraid. :$
