My Granmother is very ill at the moment but they're are not quite sure what is wring with her I noticed this evening that the blood vessels under her tongue are very prominent and are very dark Is this just something that comes with age as she is 91? Thanks

Well since your grandmother is very old and you haven’t provided us with sufficient information I would say that it is quite impossible to determine what is in question.
Has she told you that her tongue is bothering her or anything related to her mouth at all? If she has told you that this is bothering her than you should take her to the doctor regarding this matter but if she hasn’t mentioned anything than it is probably nothing. All tissue that is surrounding the tongue is very sensitive so it is possible that she has hurt herself somehow but like I have already said this is extremely hard to tell. I hope that everything will be fine.
