Good Morning,
I have read about the mastrubation " fairly normal"
My daughter is 9 years old and she is rubbing herself on edges of items" chairs etc- she gets very red in her face and sweating, when i first noticed what she was doing i asked her what she was doing and why" her reply was- she does not know why, but it feels ticklish.
I have tried to help her stop and told her that what she is doing is not right in front of other people and that it is private, on numerous occasions i have seen her doing this, now it has started happening at school. How do i go about getting help or motivating her to stop, is there anything that i can tell her to help her, i am very confused, the school psychologist is under the impression that usually children that have been sexually molested have tendancy to act in this manner" this is not the case in her situation" - i also took her to a GP to have a check up - in case she has an infection or something bothering her in her genital area and the GP said that al lis perfectly normal.
Please could you help me, i do not want to take her to see a psychaitrist of psycologist if i can help her myself." any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Vanessa
