I am a man and this happens to me however the only response I see is from females. When I explained this to my doctor he didn't seem concerned and it also started around the age of 20 and not asure much now I'm 37 and it's more frequently. Honestly concerned

Nurse told me to wash panties in hot water-gave birth and tried the hot water thing and it went away, don’t know if it was the change in hormones from giving birth or hot wash but it went away 5.5 years later it’s back and worse but been too busy to wash panties in hot water. After reading this I will make time again.

This is your mucus plug from your cervix. It happens to me when I'm severely constipated. I'm still trying to figure out whether this is normal and safe for a non-pregnant woman to have occur. Ask your OBGYN as I am this week. I have yet to find anything on the internet other than this post to find anything related to losing your mucus plug while not being pregnant. For pregnant woman, now a days it's normal for you to lose bits and pieces as it doesn't mean you're going into labor or having a miscarriage. Call your doctor immediately for any questions regardless. Good luck!

I get this often. I have noticed I get it for a few days a month about a week or 2 after my menses. I’m assuming it had to do with ovulating. I did some research and women can create more discharge during ovulation. Nothing to be concerned about.

Idk why you're going to an endocrinologist and a family doctor for vaginal issues. Why aren't you going to an obGyn?? Your endocrinologist isn't going to know what's happening with your vagina. Neither is your family doctor. Only a doctor that specializes in vaginas will be able to effectively answer your vagina questions.

I've been through a lot in my woman area. First I had BV which made me more susceptible for a UTI so I got treated for the UTI. After UTI, I still had to treat the BV so more antibiotics. After that, I had a yeast infection from all the antibiotics. I took dicflucan and that was the end of that. Since then, whenever I push to pee or poop, my vagina forces out extra discharge that is white and watery. I was so worried like omg i have another thing?!! I saw my obgyn like 3 times and each time everything was normal. Pap smear came back normal. Got STD tested, everything negative. I've come to terms that it's just my body doing its own self cleaning esp after all it's been through. I've read a ton of different things. As long as your discharge is NOT accompanied by itching, odor, or strange yellow/green color, then it is normal. Every vagina is different, and your body can change at any time which is why you may experience more discharge than normal. Just be aware of any changes that should be alarming, such as a funky foul odor, uncomfortable itching, and strange color. Don't be alarmed ladies, relax, your body is just utilizing its self cleaning feature. (: if it's a hassle, try wearing breathable fabrics like cotton undies and some panty liners.

I know someone else who got put on estrogen and got one of those things in her vagina like you described. She said it was like a hemorrhoid in her vagina. She went to the GYN and she was told that she’s got too much estrogen now and that’s what caused it. She gave her an estrogen cream to use once a week or something and it went away and she’s never had one again. Could be that you have too much estrogen from that patch.

I have this problem too, sometimes when women have a bowel movement it stimulates the vagina, causing your brain to send sex signals to the vagina which leads to discharge to help with sex
