Ive been taking penicillin to stop an infection in my mouth developing and I'm convinced I've ended up with a yeast infection. So I bought Miconazole 3-Day Treatment and I havent used any yet. I was going to wait til i took the last penicillin pill and I just been using the cream that came with the Miconazole that you put on the outside to stop itching. So today i took my last pill and was going to start the 3-Day treatment when I got this milky bright red discharge.. I figured it was probably my period mixed with yeast discharge since Ive been having tender breasts which signaled my period may be soon. But.. I havent bled since. It was just a one time discharge I guess. It has me slightly worried. Is this normal with yeast infections? Or is it an alergic reaction? I didnt put the cream inside only around the outside.
