Hello everyone. Within the duration of the past year or so I have noticed that my tongue is dirty and near the back of my throat and I can see little bumps. Every morning I wake up and it is dirty again. Near the front of the tongue, it can be brushed off but I cannot reach the back without gagging. This tongue causes a case of halitosis that is unbearable to me. I just want my tongue to be clean again. I would not like to go to a doctor about this because I am only a teenager and am very embarrassed by it. Here is what it looks like when dirty:

By the way, I'm not sure if this will affect the diagnosis but I had strep throat twice before. I know this is not herpes because I have never had oral sex.

i have the same problem and i am also a teen i have researched and the bumps on the back of our tongue are only our large taste buds the dirtiness of our tongue is mostly saliva
