Okay, so three weeks ago while flossing, I found out a few bumps light pink at the back of my tongue and I will be honest, it freaked me out. I didn't know what it was and I was preparing myself for the worst. I waited for two weeks to see if they went away, but they were there. So, i got an appointment with my doctor he examined my tongue and said I had inflamed tonsil, he gave me antibiotic, anti allergy, lozenges and mouth wash. I had fever and he said it was sore throat. I did the course but on the third day of the course, I woke up in the morning to go to work, I found out, my tongue was rough and black (this happened today). According to Google they're cicumvallate papillae. But what is this black thing on my tongue, with a thick white coating at the back, please help. I don't think we can post pictures here, otherwise I would.
