I believed that my heart beats so fast because certain situations in my life. For example, when I am scared or when I see someone who I want to see or who I don't want to see. You know what I mean. Anyway, I start to believe that anxiety might be the reason why my heart beats so fast. One day I was just sitting down on my couch watching some romantic comedy and my heart suddenly started to beat that fast. It was lasting for almost whole day. I can say that I got scared a little bit. Can anxiety cause your heart to beat fast almost all day? It can, right?

Hi there. A lot of people still don't know that, but definitely it can be. Just to be sure, visit your doctor and let him tell you a little bit about this, let him do some exams just to be sure that you are doing OK with your heart. When your heart is beating faster, this can be anxiety symptom that can come and go rarely, occur frequently, or persist indefinitely. Generally, you may notice your heart is beating very fast once and a while and not that often, feel it off and on, or feel it all the time. If this is because of anxiety, you should not be that concerned. You just need to find a way to prevent this to happen again.

It is true that anxiety can cause your heat to beat fast but I don't like that it is beating fast for the whole day, there might be something more to it then just anxiety then. This is a sensitive thing and I think that you want to consult with a doctor about this. Even though anxiety can indeed cause your heart to beat fast, I don't think that it can really cause your heart to beat fast for the entire day. This is why it is better to just go and talk to your doctor, maybe do some tests to see if everything is okay.

Guest has a point, heart is not something that you want to play with and as soon as you notice that there is something wrong in its beat or if the rhythm has changed, it is an alarm to go and talk to your doctor and do some tests, just like Guest told you. Anxiety can indeed cause your heart to beat fast but not for an entire day, it should only last for a short period of time, this is another reason why you should do these tests. If you have developed arrhythmia, you will want to start with your treatment as soon as you can.

I don't know is it an anxiety or more than it. To be honest, I did nothing to check it. I was reading about it, and when I saw that this could be caused because of my constant anxiety, I was thinking that's it. But you are right - maybe it is more than that. Maybe I should do something to check it, maybe it is time to do it now! Today, I felt like my heart is going to jump out of my chest - literally. This feeling just disappeared after 40 minutes, but I really was scared. So, generally, your suggestion is to consult my doctor anyway, even if this could be because of my anxiety, right?

Yes, definitely, it doesn't cost you anything but your time to check this with your doctor and see if everything is alright. Arrhythmia can be really dangerous sometimes and if this is the case, if arrhythmia is causing your heart to beat fast and not your anxiety, then you should do something about it but you don't have to think about that before you do some tests. I don't know, maybe it is just me, you know, I like everything to be checked out by the doctor so that you don't have to think if you are right about this or not.

I am assuming that it is just anxiety since I had been experiencing the exact same thing when I was suffering from anxiety but I guess that you can just go and check it out like others have told you, it might be better to know for sure that anxiety is causing this.

Heart arrhythmia is indeed the most common cause of non regular heartbeats but you couldn't have developed an arrhythmia out of nowhere so your cause of this has to be anxiety. But yeah, go and talk to your doctor and check everything, it will at least make you feel peaceful.

Sure it can. It has happened to me so many times during the attacks. I was thinking that my heart is going to explode, I was feeling like my chests are going to fall apart. Like a lot of people, I got scared that this will cause a heart attack for me. But, it was not because of some heart issues, it was because of anxiety.

But I don't know if anxiety is a cause of your condition. You have some symptoms that may indicate that you are having problems with heart. So, better go see your doctor as soon as possible. You will solve a lot of problems by doing that.
