So here is my story.
I am 18 years old and just began using the birth control pill (I am almost to the inactive pills in the fourth week). My last period was December 15 and I began the pills on December 21. My boyfriend and I had sex and used a condom (with a spermicide on it) on December 25, and he did finish inside me. However, he always feels bad when I don't get to finish so we switched positions and kept going from behind for maybe 1 minute. (I had no idea he had already finished and he told me about it later...its the least to say I was not pleased with his choice to do this).
When we were done I looked at the condom and there was semen in it; it was on the underside of the his shaft near the tip all together in a puddle like it usually is at the tip, only a little farther down.
My concern is if any of the semen could have leaked out the bottom of the condom while we continued, even though "doggy style" does not really put the base of his shaft inside of me. I was only on day 5 of my birth control, but I have yet to miss a pill or be late in taking one at all since I've started.
I normally have a 30 or 31 day cycle, and based on my cervical fluid i usually ovulate on day 16 or 17. This month I don't think I did ovulate because I noticed no normal change in fluid, so I am guessing the pill is coming into effect?
I must mention that lately I've been feeling like I have a nervous stomach, but I'm pretty sure this is either from me stressing over this (and doing constant internet research) or being effected by my pill.
I don't think there is a huge reason to freak out...and I know I am supposed to just wait until my period comes (or does not) and then take a test.
But can anyone tell me how risky what happened was to being pregnant? What is the likely hood that his semen leaked out of the condom from the base and into me? And that my pills have not been effective at all?
I would really like to just calm down about this, that's all.

I think because you had the extra added spermicidal lube on the outside of the condom, even if some sperm did makes it way out the top you should be safe.
But...because you used a condom, you have been on birthcontrol and even for that short time you have been on them, used the spermicidal lube and the fact you haven't missed any pills. I think you are fine. I doubt you are pregnant.
From my experience, when I first started having sex, while on brith control I also had the same nervous stomach you had and a delayed period....it was all because I was stressing over missing a pill on my BC, and worrying I was going to be pregnant. But once I got my period I was Good to Go.
I think your tummy might just be nerves, stress related, try not thinking about it (I know its hard) and see how you do!

i never took birth control untill after i had my second baby i took the depo shot. what i learned about birth control was that it can make your hormones crazy and make you feel as if you are pregnant even though you are not. but also i was told that it takes seven days for the birth control to be effective. if i were you i would talk with your doctor and let her know your situation . i also no that its not good for you to take birth control while pregnant
