You are not likely to get pregnant when your period starts. The old egg is not viable and the new egg hasn't been released (ovulation) yet. The lining of your uterus is also not able to support a pregnancy.
If you period is "different" than usual then there is a concern about pregnancy. It would have been from sex on the 19th but it is unlikely that you'd get pregnant having sex within about 10 days before your period is expected to start too.
You can always take a home test.
