I had some eye changes two weeks ago. Those changes affected iris and doctor told me that it was iridocyclitis, or iritis shortly. It looks like it was caused by some form of herpes simplex virus. I have finished with the treatments now but I am still afraid of this experience. Can iritis get back?

Unfortunately, if herpes simplex is involved in the entire story, it is possible for this condition to return. This means that you will have to take extra care about the immune system. When the immune system level drops, the herpes simplex virus attacks more easily and then iritis might attack again very easily.
