can masturbation cause more frequent erections?

I also want to know this. My dad (yes, I do talk to my dad about this) told me that this is true, that too much of masturbation can cause erectile dysfunction.

I don't think that he told me this because he thinks that I am not doing something OK, that masturbating is bad. 

Now, I have stopped with it, but since I don't have a girlfriend it is very hard for me to be in abstinence. Especially because my libido is very high.

i have been masterbating for around 6 years now and i think it does, i get them all the time and regret the times where i'd masterbate everyday of the week for a month.
