There seem to be quite a few here that mentioned being 53 or so years old, which I am, and this is the first time I've ever gone through anything like this.
I too had work done on my 6 upper front teeth, 3 on one side one day, the other 3 the next, and suspected straight away it was related, because the symptoms came intensley on the worked on side the 1st day, .. and whilst they subsided slightly but continued, the same intense symptoms began on the other worked on side the next day.
I had just recovered from flu and initially thought I might have had a relapse, .. then thought maybe a head cold, but it really didn't feel like either of those things, .. it felt like everything I've ever heard about Hayfever, .. except I don't, & have never had Hayfever. I took sudafed, and Telfast, .. and Panadiene for the aches, as I had very important things to do, and they did, but God I still felt terrible, and ended up being quite out there from the meds.
It's been 6 days since the 1st lot, & 5 since the 2nd, and I'm still feeling pretty crappy, but mercifully, the nose itching, running & sneezing, have at last almost come to an end on the 2nd side, .. yep, exactly 1 day after the 1st side did.
I had little doubt the dentistry was the cause before I found this site & thread, .. now I have absolutely none at all, .. and with all the responses here saying the exact same thing, . it seems amazing that Dentists appear be unaware of it??
I do feel relieved after having found & read it though, .. I really was worrying it was somehow the flu still lurking and trying to get a hold again, and I could not handle that, .. they were the worst 3 weeks of illness I've ever experienced with this years bug, . and I have to start a new job this week.
So thankyou everyone that posted their stories, . cheers!

Following an injection for an implant on a front tooth about 36 hours ago, I too, have been experiencing excessive sneezing, nose running and eye-watering on the side of the injection. It all started before I left the dentist's office. It is interesting that this is the only site I could find addressing this problem. Glad to know it does subside in a few days, but it is miserable and frightening. I will definitely continue to research and discuss with my dentist.
