No running cannot help to increase the height , but yes physical exercise helps to increase our height to at some point of age . It also depends upon females and males differently. One can go for cycling at there younger age to increase the height.

No physical exercise will increase height, you will only grow to the height that is in your DNA given to you by your parents at conception, if any kind of physical exercise made someone gain in height then most athletes/sports person's would be giants!
