Hello, I am 44 years old and I am thinking about doing some body corrections. I don’t think I need those that much at this moment, but if it will make me look young and more beautiful, then why not? Anyway, I am interested in botox, but I need to know if spreading of botox can be dangerous to my health?

Well, it can be, but only if it is spread outside the targeted area. And unfortunately, there were some cases where botox affected other systems in the organism. It is dangerous when the respiratory system in on that list. And if you think that you don’t need it momentarily, than perhaps you should skip it for a while.

To answer your question, research has shown that it is possible for Botox to spread to muscles, even those far away from the areas targeted by Botox injections! I am not sure how often this happens, but it can. Since one rabbit study showed that some rabbits lost like half of their muscle mass after they received Botox, I am concerned enough not to go ahead with Botox. Drooping eyes and headaches do not appeal to me either. Most people come out of Botox treatment looking great for six months. Other suffer permanent side effects. I simply don't want to take the risk.
