Condoms are generally regarded as 96% effective*. However, if they break they are 0% effective.
The pill is 99.9% effective*. This is misleading however.
The pill works for 999/1000 women*.
Of the 999 women, the pill works between 94-95%* of the time.
Things like antibiotics, dietary issues, stress, and changes in body chemistry can all affect it.
1/1000 women are essentially immune to the pill.
what this means is that for 99.9% of women, the pill + a condom would result in pregnancy .2% of the time.
For that 1/1000 women, this would result in pregnancy 4% of the time.
As a guy I would recommend to other guys looking into this issue to get a DNA test prior to signing any legally binding paperwork as the chances are very small. It is possible however, so do not think that you could not be the parent.

Ok so my bf and I had sex the last 3 weekends. I take cryselle birth control pills and am on the fourth day on inactive pills. He went inside me a few times for a little while just while we were fooling around but always put a condom on before getting into is and always came in the condom and no it never broke. Sometimes the pill can cause you to not get your period on time or at all. This is because the pill changes the chemicals in your body and effects you hormones so they don't let you ovulate which means it may not trigger a period all the time. Ex. I only get mine once every three months if at all. I wouldn't worry too much but it never hurts to take a test and contact your dr!

I feel the same way, although I have only been on the pill for two months, we used condoms but it broke.
I am now off the pill for a month and still haven't had any period and several pregnancy symptoms.
I was told that the pill takes about 3 months to be absorbed into your system. I also ovulated both months that I was on the pill. my supposed period is late by more than a week. I only had a brownish discharge a week before my supposed period and a week after.
I am thinking of taking a pregnancy test in the new week.
