Recently I was rushed to the ER after sudden pain onset, I actually thought was gas related. Movement became quite constrictive and my breath was shallow. The ER did ultrasound and CT scan and told me I had an ovarian cyst on my right side. I was then told they could not "see" the images clearly from the ultrasound due to "gas" clouding the images. I had a cyst many years back (same side) and recalled the same thing happen with sudden pain, destabilization of my mental state, loss of blood the doctors didn't know where it went to, etc. It also was very sudden. I was told my blood was low (I always have really, really low blood pressure) and my oxygen was at 98%. They released me with a prescription for Slow Fe and sent me on my way. I haven't gotten the tablets yet, but have introduced a more researched pattern of absorbing iron (heme and non-heme) into my diet.

After recovering for a few days, I continue to have difficulty with bowels and boughts of flatulence. My appetite is low (although I still get hungry) and my stool is hard and rocky. It's been a week since the ER and I've tried to take it easy as the cyst doesn't seem dissolved yet. Two days ago I felt a faint pain and I was a bit tired. The pain was on the dorsal side of my right flank, just below the posterior ribs. It presents as a large, coarse lump, unmoving.

I drank coffee and milk which are both iron restrictive, but seem to be the only things to cause my bowels to move at times. My urine is a medium to light color (depending on water intake) but the ER told me I was not dehydrated and I'm sure I'm getting enough water (I take in half my body weight in water/low or no sugar fluids). After the coffee/milk laxative effect, I had some bowel movement, but lump is still there, same size.

I also present with fibroid tumors (genetic: sisters/mom) and I just completed a cycle of flagyl (metrocondizal) about a week and a half before pain onset for a case of BV. It turned my urine brown. My left labia is constantly itching when a fine, thin film of moisture is released from my vagina (pH imbalance?), hands and feet (heels) also itch. A great deal of hair loss in vaginal area of itching and on the right side of my head (majority) has been experienced. The itchiness and hair loss are exacerbated just prior to and at onset of my monthly cycle. The day after I came back from the ER I experienced a great deal of falling hair along with itching. Could this all be related to systemic issues?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
