I had a haemorrhoidectomy operation a month ago, and I'm still passing a small stool about 3 or 4 times a day.
Anyone had this experience and how do I retrain my bowels go more at once?
When I need to go, it's urgent so I can't really hold it in. The other reason why I can't hold it in is because I would feel bloated. But when I do go, I would only pass about 1/3 of what is normal within the first few minutes, and the stool is noticeably thin. This would be over 5 mins and if I spend longer (not that I've tried more then 8 mins) it doesn't result in anything more.
I drink plenty of water, have a great diet plan, and I use a little chair when I'm on the toilet to help me go. I do take laxatives, but only a small amount, which I plan to stop as of tomorrow. because the stool it self isn't hard (but normal).
Anyone else with this problem after 1 month? How do I get my bowel movements back to normal?
