Hi everybody. I am a 54 year old and currently in my 2nd week of lymphedma therapy. I’ve been told of the Reid Sleeve Classic and that I will need them on both legs. You see, I’ve had Lymphedema for decades and have had cellulitius in my right leg probably even more, especially during the last three years. It was so severe that my doctors have discussed amputation!!! At least twice!! So, my question is: will the classic breathe be well enough to stop my feet create a source for continued infections? And how do you clean them on the inside?

Hopefully you have found successful treatment and are on your way to a maintenance program. There has been a lots of a trouble with that disease in the past, but now it is different story.
Now, your question regarding the ReidSleeve all I can tell you that there hasn't been any compression source successfully developed. However, perspiration on it's own is not known to be a trigger for an infection. Pricing also varies but hopefully you have insurance that will pay for some of the expense. Good luck.
