Hello,
My mother is alcoholic almost all her life. She has cirrhosis. I know that because she was hospitalized once, otherwise she doesn’t want to go to hospital, because, she says, she couldn’t stop drinking, so what is the point?
Here are her symptoms and signs she has. She has redness in face, very dry skin, very skinny, but swollen abdomen, no appetite, swollen legs, also very dry skin on legs and wounds from scratching.
Watching her killing herself is hard for me as it is for her… how much time has she left?

Hey,
I understand you. My father died last year because of cirrhosis. He was 56 and was having similar symptoms.
It is very hard to say how much time is left for her … maybe 1 month, maybe 1 year, maybe 2 years, maybe 5 … the hardest drug…alcohol.
