You can still get treated if you have not gotten it treated yet, although you really should get it treated soon because it can really damage your body. How come you haven't gotten treatment yet?

Chlymidia has several stages. The symptoms increase in intensity and number the longer you are infected and become harder to treat. Luckly it is always treatable. Mild Chlymidia can be cured by either a single shot of ammoxicyllin or a few pills of a somewhat strong antibiodic. Stage 2 Chylimidia (what you probably have) can usually be cured by a 10 day cycle of penicillin. Sometimes you may have to take two or three 10 day cycles.

Note for the future: it can be easily avoided by using condoms. If you absolutely refuse to wear them, (which I by NO means advise) try to get in the habit of urinating after sex and washing your tools. Urine contains a high concentration of ammonia which kills bacteria. This is in NO WAY 100% effective but it may decrease your chance of catching it by a few tenths of a percent.

Again I must stress that simply peeing after you have unprotected sex will not keep you from catching STI's, but if you MUST insist on having unprotected sex, it MAY help VERY LITTLE.

The most modern way to prevent the transmission of STI's and STD's if you insist on having unprotected sex is for both partners to get tested before the condom comes off. Once it is determined that neither of you are infected, then STAY EXCLUSIVE!!!

Thank your lucky stars you caught a bacterial STD. Viral STD's such as HepC, HPV, HIV, and genital herpes have no known cure!
