Chlamydia infection in men may develop in the urethra, and/or the prostate. About 1/2 of infected men dont show symptoms. If symptoms do develop one would notice within 1 to 3 weeks after infection. His symptoms may include:

burning sensation at urination

redness at the tip of the penis
itchy or irritated urethra
pain and swelling in the testicles
pain between the scrotum and anal area (prostate)

Rarely it may affect areas other than the genitals. These people may experience symptoms of:

the eyes (due to a contaminated hand touching the eyes): itching, redness and itching of the eyelids

the anus (after anal intercourse with infected men): rectal bleeding, mucousy discharge from rectum, diarrhea, and pain during bowel movement.

This is a bacterial infection that can be diagnosed only by a doctor and treated with antibiotics. If you think you may have ANY STD the ONLY RESPONSIBLE thing to do is swallow your pride and go see a doctor for treatment. Also tell the girl/s or guy/s that they should also get checked. This is easily spread because of the lack of symptoms. I know this is easier said than done but again it is the only RESPONSIBLE thing to do. There are also free clinics EVERYWHERE that will treat you ANONOMOUSLY. They assign you a number and that is all you are to them. It is for privacy and also to report the demographic statistics of any STD. Your name is not important to those findings. Good Luck!

FIRAST OF ALL GO TO YOUR DOCTOR AND GET TESTED IT ALSO COULD JUST BE A BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS. BUT SOMETIMES THE LABORATORY CAN CONFUSE BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS WITH CHLAMYDIA SO IF YOU ARE DIAGNOSED WITH CHLAMYDIA AND THERE IS NO WAY YOU COULD POSSIBLY HAVE IT THEN GET YOURSELF RETESTED JUST TO BE SURE GOOD LUCK
