A few months back I found out I was b12 deficient. Since started taking shots, lumps started appearing around my abdomen that were sore and would go away after a week until the next shot. Needless to say I stopped the shots and started a sublingual tab of b12. These made my stomach sore but had no lumps. At the same time, I started getting a constant burning feeling about 2 in above my navel and discomfort in my left abdominal area constantly. About 2 months ago, that burning feeling turned in to a soreness that when pressed, hurt on rebound. Still had same feeling in left side if abdomen. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy which were normal and biopsies found no ulcers, GERD, or crohns. So they diagnosed me with IBS. About two week ago, the area above navel started getting stabbing pains that were moderate. I do have diastis recti there and where it bulges out is where the pain and discomfort is. Now the area from bottom of my sternum to my belly button is irritated all the time with sharp burning type pain. I started taking Pepcid but that doesn't seem to help very much. It seems like my initial problem several months ago is gradually getting worse. My family doctor is at a loss and I have to wait another 2 months to see the Gastro dr. It feels like if it gets even a tiny bit worse ill need to go to the ER. Not sure how much more I can take! Looking for relief and answers.
