Soooo, first day of last period was 8/12/10. My husband and I had unprotected sex twice before I put my birth control back in. A few days later I felt nausea and cramping. Out of concern (4 days later) I took my birth control out to be on the safe side. Another few days later I had 3 days of bleeding. The nausea comes and goes, I have had minor but frequent headaches, cramping and my nipples are quite tender, along with slimy discharge. Could I have had a missed miscarriage, or could I be pregnant? I have a doctor appointment in two weeks, but am anxious to find out...

In those situations you will always wonder about three things - am I about to get my period, did I have a miscarriage or could I be pregnant.
It can be anything, but as far as I can see, you think about two things.
Tell me, do you use some pills? Because it can easily be the case that this discharge is side - effect from certain pills.
Also, it would be a good idea to let your gynecologist do ultrasound because he will easily tell you are you pregnant and also if you really had a miscarriage, you need to check are you clean after this.
Anyway, in any of those conditions, you really should do an ultra - sound and blood test.
