Hi, I had a Pap test few days ago, because my doctor said that it has to be done at least once a year. When I came home after the test, I noticed a small stain of blood on my underwear. Is it possible that my doctor have hurt me?

Hi, the same thing happened to me on my last Pap test. There were few drops of blood on my underwear when I came home. I thought that my doctor has hurt me, so I returned to a clinic and told him that. He explained that it probably happened because of some cyst that I had. He said that cyst sometimes bleed during a regular Pap test. He told me to return if the bleeding becomes heavier. I suppose that I rushed a little with the conclusion when I said that he has hurt me during the exam. The bleeding has stopped and it never returned.
