I know what you can do, you can go to your doctor to get that bump checked out. This way you will know what is that bump and you will not have to worried about it anymore. It is impossible for me to diagnose you like this. I can not tell you what is that bump and what is the cure for it. Only your doctor can by examining you. Don't ignore it. It might be nothing, but then again, it can be something serious. I don't want to scare you, I just want you to realize that some conditions have better chances for curable treatment when they are discovered in early stages. So, go as soon as possible to your doctor. I will tell you more about the vagina, so that you know more about it. On either side of the vaginal opening is a pair of glands called the Bartholin or vestibular glands that produce fluid that lubes the vulva's inner lips. Because of its location, this substance can ease penetration. If the opening to either of these glands becomes blocked, a Bartholin cyst can swell and become tender.
