Ok, I have been reading these blogs for a week now. Others stories have inspired me to quit.
I'm a business owner, father and husband. I had back issues which let me to percocet. Like others I'm wondering how I got to this point in my life. I'm embarrassed and ashamed. I liked them for the pain. They worked great. Next thing I know it's a year later and I'm taking 4 per day just to feel normal. I have chosen to beat this addiction at all costs. Wish me well!
15 hours now since my last pill. I am feeling lethargic. My body's very heavy. Nose is running, starting to ache. I will keep you posted.

Dear Will Power
I understand that you are a business man, father, and husband. Please let me offer you something that I know works. It's Narcotics Anynomous or N.A. for short. These are groups of people that that know exactly what you are going thru, they are a support team that keeps each other straight, no matter the type of drug. If you are a contractor and are afraid to go to a meeting in your town, throw a dart at a map, I promise you'll land close to where there is a meeting. Hey man, what do you have to loose? Except a lousey feeling. But brother, you have everything to gain! You'll get that self-respect back. The shame and embarrassment are all part of the addiction, but it will go away. But all you have to do is look in you phonebook under NA, call them. They will give you the time, directions and all you have to do is show up. You dont have to say a word. Whats an hour out of your evening compared to never having to feel like you do ever again? You got nothing to loose and everything to gain! Please let me know if you go, I care.
