I smoked pot everyday for roughly 5 to 6 years, usually about an 8th a day. I am in my 4 day of of being clean, I did it cold turkey because I really can't do it any other way, I am just way to addicted to it and I personally love weed but the place where I work recently implemented random drug testing so I need to stop.
Symptoms of withdrawl I have had:
Night sweat - I soak my entire sheets from head to toe, its horrible.
Tossing and turning - Cant sleep for long periods but I do run 2 miles a day to atleast get some sleep, it really does work.
Stomach pain - I always kind of feel hungry but the second I take a bite I am immediatley full and my stomach really hurts badly. If I eat to much I vomit, even with water.
My head - I cant even describe the thoughts/feelings that enter my mind and how my head generally feels. A fog + extreme anxiety is all I can say, among a host of other horrible things, no headaches though.
Joints and muscles - so sore, I am running and I started when I quit pot so its tough to say whats from the exercise and whats from the withdrawl but everything hurts so badly.
Even with all these symptoms I do in some aspects feel better, espisaclly my mouth - no more cotton mouth, my chest feels so much clearer, I dont have to clear my throat or have extreme coughing fits anymore.
I really hope I can make it through this week of work and I don't relapse.
Another thing that has been helping me sleep is having about 3 or 4 rum and cokes before bed, probably not the best idea to trade 1 vice for another but you have to do what you have to do.
Can anyone recommend to me maybe some herbal remedies or teas I may want to try to help with this, I am pretty desperate at this point and will try almost anything to reduce any of these symptoms. I really have no experience with herbal remedies and I dont want to walk in and ask the guy whats best for weed withdrawl.
Thanks

I have been in the same boat, but I do not drink. I have been using Benadryl to go to sleep at night and sometimes, Itake a 2nd Benadryl if I wake up in the middle of the night and feel restless. There is a good herbal remedy that I picked up from Wal Mart also, which contains several herbs, including Melatonin, etc.
