Hi ppl Im male 28 from Malta. Ive being diagnosed with anxiety disorder.
Sometimes i have anxiety attacks , but down by having some anti- anxiety pills are helping a lot of my problem.
The problem is that when I get tensed and feeling a little anxious. I find this strange vision Im not mad plz dont tell me that im mentally ill or something
When I look down to my belly i see it bouncing like with my heart rate . Can someone expert tells me what is it this sensation.? plz?/
Cause im a bit afraid . To let you explain better . We have a pulse nerve just above our ears it makes a pulse rate showing the rymthm of your heart hows it is pumping blood...
Somtimes I try to look down to my belly and I see like my belly is bouncing with this pulse rate . Is it something to worry about or is just anxiety disorder?
Please do tell me i need some advise too if you can
Thanks a lot Gilbert From Malta

Well, I suppose what you are seeing is not your belly bouncing, but rather your head/eyes bouncing instead.
If the pulse you referred to in front of your ear is strong enough (superficial temporal artery is the actual pulse you are feeling), it could be causing your eyes to jump, not your belly. What you would see would appear to be your belly jumping with the pulse when, in reality, it is your eyes that are jumping.
The eyes would not have to be jumping very much, and in fact, you probably couldn't even see them moving if you were looking in a mirror. However, the slight motion caused by the pulsation of the temporal artery might be sufficient to cause the percieved jumping of your stomach.
Just a guess, but it's the only thing I can think of that could logically be causing the sensation you are describing.

Well, I don't know how common it might be, but I wouldn't think it is anything to worry about, especially since you now have an idea of what it might be.
If it persists and if it really bothers you, then I would certainly encourage you to consult a physician. Hopefully your current medications will, over time, help to alleviate the problem.
Good luck and I hope things work out for you!
