is it okay to take diavan and atenol both daily ?[

It appears that there is no serious problem with taking diovan and atenolol concurrently. Diovan is an angeotensis 2 receptor blocker and atenolol is a beta blocker. They do not reduce blood pressure by the same process. However, diovan and atenolol should never be taken with an ACE inhibitor type of anti-hypertensive medication.

In the Valsartan Heart Failure Trial, the combination of valsartan (same type of drug as diovan) with a beta-blocker and an ACE inhibitor was associated with unfavorable outcomes on morbidity and mortality in heart failure patients. The mechanism is unknown.

The triple combination of valsartan with a beta-blocker and an ACE inhibitor must be avoided in heart failure patients.
