Recently at a party my long term boyfriend fingered me. This wasn't the first time at all, but I realised later I was bleeding. It wasn't excessive bleeding and I wasn't aware of any major pain from what we were doing. I discussed it with him that I thought he'd broken my hymen, however there's been no more bleeding after the intial hour or so and he seemed unsure that he had. I'm concerned that if it wasn't my hymen broken there may be other damage that I'm unaware of. How can I be sure?

Even if you can't see anything, it would be nice to be familiar with what you look like for future reference.

But it sounds like he may have simply cut you with his fingernail or something and it's already healed.
That's not uncommon but he should try to be more careful so he doesn't hurt you.
