Hello there miltie876,
Hematomas can really be very painful especially if they are big. Last winter I had fall really bad and I had hematoma on my right arm and it looked really bad and it had hurt like hell!
One of my friends recommended me Arnica cream which is great for various different things. I was thrilled because it has relived the pain which I was feeling and it helped for the hematoma to pass a little bit quicker. I was very grateful for this information and now I am sharing it with you. You can buy this cream in almost every pharmacy and I think that its price is around 7$. I hope this was helpful and good luck.

I had the similar experience.
After an injury like a fall, it's possible for the affected area to develop scar tissue as part of the healing process. Scar tissue forms as the body repairs damaged tissue, and it can result in changes in the texture, flexibility, and function of the affected area. Scar tissue is typically less flexible and more prone to irritation and discomfort compared to the original tissue.
If you're experiencing pain and a sensation of stretching in the area where you had a hematoma, it's possible that the scar tissue is being stressed or stretched due to movement or activity. Scar tissue can have different properties than the surrounding healthy tissue, which can lead to sensations of discomfort or tightness.
You can try managing your symptoms with self-care measures such as applying ice packs or heat packs (whichever feels more soothing to you), gentle stretching exercises (if approved by your healthcare provider), over-the-counter pain medications (following the recommended dosage), and avoiding activities that exacerbate your symptoms.
I also used shower massages to ease the pain and it got resolved in a few weeks. I think you will be ok in no time.
