Hi there,
Tonsillectomy is a procedure that is not that simple and the recovery can vary from person to person. The thing is that sometimes recovery can last up to four weeks. The fact is that your pain should have been lesser after ten days. You have to know that you can’t eat anything hard in first week, and that you need to be on soft diet all the time. First week you can eat a lot of ice cream with will help with the pain. Have you been using any pain killers? Have you noticed any bleeding when you eat or maybe when you wake up in the morning? You have to be more patient.
All the best,
Danella
