Do small testicles affect fertility in men?

I do have the same problem. Doctor did ultrasound and said that you have traffic problem. Because of the Testis size is small and that's why your sperm count comes 0 or less then required. He said there is a minor chance of having child, only possibility is doing IVF. So kindly guide me if there is any chance to improvement without doing the IVF. Best Regards

Dear Bulson, Well the same problem happened with me also. Doctor did ultrasound and found the testis size is small. since 4 years I don't have child and did all the tests. Sperm count 0 or some times it comes 2 or less then it required for pregnancy. Doctor said because of small testis there is a traffic problem. So I have only option of IVF which they take the sample from my testis and inject in Wife. Kindly can you explain that, is there any treatment to improve without doing the IVF? Best Regards,

I think testicle size has nothing to do with fertility. I am 53 years old and I too have small testicles but I have fathered 2 children. Of course this was 28 years ago but my testicles were always the same size and believe me my wife got pregnant real fast. I hope this helps.

Hello , Im 23yrs old, Its not a solution to any of u. Its about my situation. I never concentrated on masturbation. I used to get excited in my dreams and which results in unvoluntary ejaculation. The main thing i concern about is my testicles are decreasing after each and every ejaculation and never got the original sized testicles back. I was pbserving this from past 8 yrs . I dont concentrate on masturbation much. When ever the unvoluntary ejaculation happens i dont feel any pain or anything but rarely the nerve connected to right side placed testicle will have little bit pain when ever i touch it. Am i having any problem please help me

When I was 13 I was diagnosed with thiroid cancer I went through 18 hours of surgury and radiation after radiation. I remember them constantly measuring my testicles. I definately have small testicles
even now as an adult. I also have 2 beautiful kids. _

actually he is NOT wrong. I am a Urologist and testosterone levels and sperm production do correlate to testes size. This does not mean there are not a myriad of other factors to consider that will effect fertility, and size is not an exclusive factor but is relevant. Online forums are the WRONG place to get advice. Go to a qualified Urologist.

Hi, I'm new at this forum... On my experience...Now, I'm 27, almost 28, and hava also a small pair of testicles. I was diagnosed of this "possible" dicease when I was about 19. They told me I had to get pinched with some medication, but as a young and arrogant kid, didn't pay much atention to it. This medication, supposelly was gonna prevent my testicles to atrophy.

Time passed by, didn't get common sense till I was like 23, that I noticed they hadn't changed much and really start to worry about it. However, the doctor who attended me, told me it was too late to start the treatment, due to my age... (young adult).

It seemed that due to my older age, I had no possibilities to correct nor prevent the problem no more...

During that time I was suspicious about my inability to procreate, cuz of many chances I had to get some girls pregnant, never happened... and indeed, all was connected:

I took a sperm account test. The results: none, or as doctors call it: "azoospermia", that means rondly: NONE...

Didn't understand it very well untill the doc explained it to me, step by step, like for a child... Lemme' xplain it to ya'll...

Spermatozoids need certain temperature to live and to be able to fertilize an egg once expelled from the penis in the semen. 

This is why normally, the sack hangs away from the body, cuz the body's temperature is too high to keep'em fertile, so, hanging away from the body keeps them safe. On the other hand... Having small testicles leads to having a small sack, wich leads again to have unsafe, dead or "useless" spermatozoids, how ever you rather callin' it.

So.... at least that's what I understood, and once I did it, won't deny it... felt kinda sad, not shocked, cuz as I explained, I was already suspecting of it... but yeah, there are times when I think about what NEVER being able to procreate means... NEVER raise a "MINI ME"... at least Naturally.

The good part of it has been of being able to have sex intercourse with no freight about geting any girl/woman pregnant, at least during my active youth. It's now that it gets kinda heavy, but...

Gotta be strong and accept it, not with pride, but with CONFIDENCE that once I get married, if I ever do, it'll be certainly because of true love feelings and not because of a nondesired pregnancy... so...

My wife and I tried to have children for the past 10 years. I went to the doctors and had a sperm count and found that I had a low sperm count, I asked the proctologist if small testicles was a factor and they said yes and also scheduled a testosterone check. After fining out that my hormones were very low my doctor informed me that it was very unlikely that I would be able to produce children. Here is a link to something we are considering trying.

what if you have small testes and when you ejaculate it is clear. im in my mid thirties.

do not worry about it. you have options: adapt kids, artificial baby, or without kids.
one of 10 couples is like you.
Not finish your life and married.
No matter what you married with nice wife, she will agree with your problem.

my age is 29 and this is my first time to come on this page my question is i am newly married and have spent 3month with my wife and she could not get pragnent then after i went for semen test according to that report my sperm count is just 1. so i have small size of testicle..is my sperm count is low just because of small size of testicle??and how can i make it larger??and how many days it will take to be an standered size....please giude me thanx for all..
