may 2008 my wife was hospitalized because she had hemorrhagic fever and her platelet count went down to 30 below the normal level but she was asymptomatic she didnt have any rash nor bleeding is just my her platelets alone as their basis, so they rehydrated her and she was discharged after 3 days but it took her almost 2 weeks feeling that way prior to hospitalization and shes been taking medications as prescribed and still working on her recovery. but just after a month she was hospitalized again for 2 days because her potassium went up and she had hyperkalemia. her potassium level went to 10.96 and technically she should be dead already with that level of potassium she was having palpitations, diarrhea and body weakness the night that she was admitted. ishe thought she could be having renal failure or something or if shes diabetic, but shes only 25 to have advance kidney problem and they had to insert IV and do further diagnostics and they checked her blood sugar, did urinalyis, ECG, cbc, sodium and they turned out to be all normal and her potassium level is decreasing but she says she still feel sick then but i dont understand what has been happening to her all i know is something is not right. and just yesterday her fever came back, it was 100.7F and she was feeling all bad and weak and easily irritated..she also has lost of appetite. she doesnt feel energetic and lively since the first time she was hospitalized. I dont know what to think. Shes an RN and she doesnt know what to think either. We def think something is wrong. I cant hold her in bed because her body is so hot,and its summer time. Her temp goes up and down all the time fromm 98.6 to 100.7 I know someone out there has dealt with these kinds of things, Help please
