i have alot of self harm thoughts and i wish they would go away. i tryed to kill myself befor. 3 times. i got help and its been gone for a while and its come back and i want it gone. someone help!

im 17. i lost a girlfriend....she took her life and would harm herself in front of me. i have nightmears about it and my girlfriend now trys to help but i cant seem to shake the feeling its all my fought that she took her life.

I'm so sorry to hear that.... what your gf is def not your fault. Why do you feel that way? Its ok for you to grieve and be sad for what happened but don't blame yourself

Do you taKe antidepressants? Quite a few of them have that warning and have that effect. I think I'm goinh through the same thing. Unfortunatetly I also cut on occasion to relieve stress I plan on talking to my Dr. about it next week, whether she wants to listen. Just keep trying untill you find the right MD or yours can suggest a medication that may work for you.

i knew she hurt herself befor but that was 2 years ago when we where both freshmen. she hurt herself when she would stay at my house. cut her arms slit her wrist she didnt care how it made me feel. she tought i desreved better someone normal in her mind. the week she took her life was exam week i guess with me and the stress fromm exams it was to much. she slit her wrist 3 times bled out in my bathroom....

Hey again..... I can't imagin how loosing her must have felt.... did you find her after she killed herself? If she was saying it was her fault and that you seserved better then why do you feel you caused it.... clearly it was not because of you. She would have cut herself regardless of if she knew you and if you didn't give her a knife she would have gotteb one somewhere else. How did it make you feel when you found out she killed herself?

yes i found her...laying in a pool of her own blood. in a nice pretty white dress. howd i feel? dead inside hurt wishing life would end i hurt myself nonstop a for weeks after. tryed to kill myself 3 week after. cuz in someway i wasnt anof for her to be happy to smile to make her feel like she was worth something. like a rose it needs to be taken care of to show its true beauty. her name was rose btw.

So if you felt that horrible think of how everyone that knows and loves you will feel if you take your life..... it wasn't ur fault.... it had nothing to do with you not being good enough for her to be happy.... she was upset because you made her so happy she thought she didn't deserve such a great of guy as you? Does that make sense? The problem was not you at all it was her
