I have a question after watching a medical program on TV last night, if that is OK? In the program, this guy was infected with Legionella and then has a high temperature. Is this something that happens to people that are infected with Legionella and have a disease caused by this? Thank you for your information!

Yes, and the disease in question is called Legionellosis, which is a direct result of an infection with Legionella bacteria. High fevers, cold chills, and coughs are all symptoms of this infection, and internal organs are damaged during the course of the infection, as it goes on. Therefore, immediate treatment is very important.
