Does ejaculation affect singing?

I teach voice and a student asked me if ejaculation affect the voice in singing.Is there any medical research on that topic?

Well, actually it depends. If you jack off the meatstick hard enough. Because I have masturbated and caused a weird kind of strain in my voice, I checked it out online, didn't find anything. So i asked my doctor, also I was singing and rapping weird, even when I wasn't really trying :/

But this is to my knowledge of my own body, so it might just be me. Also if you have gay sex and your anus gets stimulated, that can also slightly effect your voice. Its not too bad though, this is just what I have been told and Some, I quote, SOME, has happened to me. I'm not gay

I think i have the same problem, but with voice over act that i was recording and on that morning i had sex, and later that day i had a recording session and it didn't go as planned, as i couldn't concentrate nor focus on the lines, and my voice wasn't in its best sound, the funny thing that my voice coach mentioned not to have sex a day before a recording session, so it can have an affect on your voice

They're wrong those who are saying no....it effects a lot bros...u will not be able to sing notes at high scale...till 48 hrs or so on

Very interesting topic for professional singers... particularly classical singing. The great Opera tenor Mario Del Manico refused to have sex with his wife (seasonally) before and during performance seasons. She became so upset that she attempted to sue La Scala (Opera House and Co) for losses!! I do believe that there is some truth to loss of vocal energy and therefore range. There may even be some sort of hormonal effect on the muscles of the larynx and the elasticity of the vocal folds. Then again there could be a lot of psychological problems going on here as well .... particularly if you have been 'unfaithful'??? It's a bit of a 'mystery'......

I'm a rap artist & regional Mexican singer & it does... When you masterbate your body gets drained of energy so when you sing or rap you will not have the potential you would normally have...

Mr A. It definitely affects,especially the higher register.Plus the smoothness of the voice goes.But its all temporary,a couple of days if that.This has happened to me,so I refrain from it a few days before a gig.

YES it does. Semen acts as a lubricant to the voice and enriches it tonality. Safe the troops! I'm a professional singer and have been singing for 17 years. I've been practicing semen retention for the last few years but have had slip ups and its extremely noticeable.
