donated plasma for one year and now even 5 months later the bleeding from periods is massive.

I always had rough periods but I donated plasma from June 2009 to July 2010...And still today my periods are massive.It runs anywhere from 10 to 21 days.Use to it ran around 10 days or so. But now it is massive and the clots just pour out.Is there a medicine one can take to control this?
