A few months ago I was told by my obgyn that I had bv and was prescribed Flagyl. I found out soon after that I'm pregnant, so I can't take the flagyl until I hit my second trimester (I'm only 9 weeks right now ugh!). Anyway, the bv really didn't bother me at all at first, but the past couple weeks I've been extremely itchy and dry. To the point where I can't even leave the house because it's so uncomfortable. Also, I've noticed a lot of thick white "balls" of discharge around my clit. I wash it but it just comes back within a day. Is this the bv finally causing symptoms or something else?? Maybe a yeast infection, I'm not sure. I can't take any antibiotics for another few weeks but does anyone know of any way to provide some relief until then?!
