Hello, I went to the doctor's office today because I had an appointment for my ear. I have an ear infection and I've had it for about 4 days. The doctor looked in my ear and told me he found an unusual purple-ish brown-ish lump in the inner canal of my ear. He said he didn't know what it was but that it could be melanoma or maybe just a sore. It's right next to my ear drum and hearing is difficult. I'm really hoping it isn't cancerous because that could mean surgery and a big hassle that nobody needs. I have slight bronchitis and a small cold. I've also had 2 fevers this month. The first one was high and the second one wasn't too bad. A sore throat accompanied the fevers as well. If anyone knows what the bump in my ear canal is please let me know.
