Hi ya'll I am wondering if someone can help me...2 months ago my husband and I suffered from an ectopic pregnancy. My tube didnt completely burst, however, they did do emergency surgery and found a little more than a pint of blood in my abdomin..they claimed the baby had aborted itself, but the dr's still wanted me to have my levels checked 48 hours later to make sure everything (all the cells) was removed..well 48 hours later, my levels doubled! AND they saw "something" on the ultrasound..the dr told me it COULD be a surviving twin, but it didnt look viable. He pushed for me to have the metho shot to just get rid of all the cells. However, my husband and I felt that was unnecessary..and we wanted to let whatever happen ..happen natural...anyways - we ended up miscarrying after about a week - and ended up finally taking the shot to clean out my tube since the dr's were completely convinced the cells could still be growing..well heres my question..well, questions I guess..is it possible that the drs were wrong in saying I had an ectopic? Is it possible something else caused the internal bleeding? I just find it hard to believe I was carrying twins its just so rare of a case. Like maybe it was a hemroid and the surgery caused too much stress on my baby, that it caused me to miscarry? Or is that just ridiculous to even think?! My next question, since no drs can give me a straight up answer..when can we try to conceive again?? ANY help or advise would be great!
