could the helibactor virus resoult from drinking a can of coke, my bf got really sick that night and nothing other than that could be that cause, is there much reserach

I was reading an interesting article related to this bacterium and the way some doctors were finding ways to diagnose it. They made some sensors that should detect the presence of bacteria in the stomach lining by getting out the gases by making people belch. And for this tests, they used coke to make people belch, so that they can sensor it. I don’t know if they succeeded, these were preliminary tests I was reading about. From this, I doubt that you can get a bacterium from a coke, but I can’t say for sure. Sorry I couldn’t help more!
