I have been suffering from panic attacks for about five years now, though during some periods it is worse than others. I have been in and out of therapy and while it has helped me some, I do feel that I am not cured and still need professional help. Quite by chance, I stumbled upon this EEG biofeedback, which apparently can help people with anxiety problems. Are there any people who have been through an EEG biofeedback? I would like to know what to expect, and whether it really works?

I think that EEG biofeedback works by you becoming aware of the way in which your own brain functions. Because you will have all the relevant information, as explained in great detail by doctors, you will now be able to help yourself and get your anxiety, or other disorders, under control. It is kind of like a self help tool, only you need someone else, in this case the EEG, to provide you with relevant information about your brain waves, your bodily temperature, and how all that changes in certain situations. I certainly think that this makes a lot of sense and that you should have a go at this! I have no idea about the cost, though!
