Still having a problem with sitting in car due to pain. Is it okay to use hemorroid treatment suppositories to numb this area?? Went back for my checkup after four weeks and everything was fine. Guess I am just a slow healer. Do get a great deal of relief using sup. after bowel movement and at night before retiring. Just wanted to make sure this would not interfere in the healing process. Outside area is completly healed, just tenderness, itching inside.

PS....just can't ask the doctor as I feel to embarrased!! He treats many cancer patients and it makes me feel ashamed and whiney to complain. Was not honest about my cigarette habit and feel this may be why I am slow to heal.
