I have some problems with my eyes, I wonder if you can help me out with it. I wear contact lenses for almost a year now. It was very hard, getting used to them in the beginning, but now I do not even feel them. I had trouble with conjunctivitis on several occasions, which I solved with ointments, and eye drops. I thought I have conjunctivitis now too, but the redness is not passing. I even fell some little discomfort. Could we be speaking about episcleritis?

It seems to me that you have a decent share of medical knowledge, at least when it comes to eye condition. It is a good thing that you are well informed about your health status. Episcleritis is an infection of episclera. Episclera is a connective tissue between sclera and conjuctiva. This condition is usually mixed up with conjunctivitis. There is no exact cure for it. It usually passes on its own, you might use some anti-inflammatory medicaments and that is it.
