i was late so i took some home pregnency tests all had faint lines as the week went on and all in the morning first one of the day. they got fainter now have just started my period or bleeding today but am in so much pain and cramp. was i pregnent and have i had a miscarage.

Unfortunately I believe you may have or it could be implantation bleeding but you usually don't get cramping and bright red blood with it or at least not much. Go to the doctor immediately or the ER. They will measure your HCG hormone levels and will tell you positively if you suffered a miscarriage - it is with a blood test that they test.
