Is there any chance that focal nodular hyperplasia turns to cancer? My mother, who is 66, is carrying it for a long time, but she had never experienced any complications due to this lesion.

Focal nodular hyperplasia is a benign lesion on liver. It is usually asymptomatic, but it can occur sometimes that it transforms into a fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma. Focal nodular hyperplasia stains intensely, takes up radionuclide, angiography, and is safe to biopsy.

???? This is strange by no means do i mean disrespect

i am too a sufferer of FNH , and trying to get answers my self , but in all my reaserch

Not once did it say that FNH turns into a Heptic Adomna or Carceona .

This doesnt sound like right information to me , but i am not a doctor just a girl with alot of questions about my own condition , and extensive research of the topic up my sleve
